About Blessed Thistle
Farm
Blessed
Thistle Farm is in eastern Kansas, a land covered by hedge, elm,
locust, hackberry, cedar, oak, maple, walnut, wild plum, and redbud
as well as corn, soybeans, milo, and pasture. This once rural area
is now threatened by development—cell towers, freeways, and
agricultural chemicals, for example. In addition, biogenetic
engineering is a threat to the balance of the natural world—a
threat to the very seeds that have sustained life for
eons.
It is our goal to help
save that which is wild and free. Organic principles are followed,
and only non-hybrid seeds are planted & gathered. Herbs that
are wild-crafted are done so in an ethical manner. We strive to
help the earth restore herself back to a natural balance to support
plant diversity, to work with nature rather than control it. The
herbs in these tinctures were grown and harvested with love,
gratitude, and respect towards the plant spirits.
